There is a least one review on the net that is negative. This company has address all the issues in that review and then some. The board overclocks very well. The utilites that are provided work. If you need a solid board that will improve your gaming or just want a more powerful AMD machine. This board does the job. I am a gamer and and I overclock everything. This board has allowed me the highest overclock to date for my amd z955 proc. My ram is running at 1800 and my video cards are super stable at 15% overclocks. Skyrim, notorius for problems is running a solid 45 fps with this system at full ultra settings.

Biostar really put together a sweet motherboard. Performance and quality is excellent. I'm not much for over-clocking, however Biostar threw in all the bells and whistles for over-clocking. I matched the board with a AMD eight core CPU. Very Satisfied with it performance. The TA-990 is priced well and runs like a raped ape on Linux.. 1866 memory runs well with no over-clocking. I do wish it had a few more system fan plug-in. It does come with 3. I also prefer SATA ports to come straight out of the board. Biostar turn their SATA ports facing the hard drive. Makes it a little more difficult to squeeze SATA cables in. The main reason I choose Biostar over Asus is the two PS2 ports that Biostar offers. For some reason all the rest of the motherboard companies went with only 1 PS2 port.I really didn't want to buy a new USB KVM switch..You can not go wrong with Biostar's TA-990 FXE.. Amazon had my board here in a jiffy. Very happy customer
