Researched for about 3 weeks before finally settling for this board. Bought this motherboard to go with my 2600k Sandy Bridge processor and 8GB Corsair Vengeance(soon to be increased to 32GB). It worked flawlessly out of the box. No problems no hang ups no hassles. Would definitely recommend this board to anyone who wants a system that performs at the highest level without spending $400 for a motherboard. The applications which come with it make overclocking a breeze and there is even a quick boot option which had my pc booting up within 6 secs from pressing the power button. simply put this thing rocks thus far and i would definitely recommend this product.

This is my second PC build. I replaced my previous AMD Phenom II build from earlier this year. I initially ordered Ausus Maximus Micro-ATX motherboard and sent it back. I am glad I did. This motherboard gives you so much flexibility. Right out of the shoot, when I initially fired up my PC for the first time, it immediately detected my 2 SSD's and 2TB HDD and asked me if I wanted to automatically set a RAID configuration. I said yes and 3 minutes later I was loading my OS. No RAID drivers or headaches. the Automatic tuner allowed me to over-clock my core i7 2600k to 4.5Ghz at the click of a button.
I will continue to be a Gygabyte customer based on the 2 great experiences I've had so far!

After months of Research. I decided to make this The Foundation for my New PC. This Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 Motherboard, 16g of Mushkin Blackline Ram, EVGA GTX570 Video card, Intel 2600K CPU, Cooled by a Corsair H50 and 128g Samsung 830 SSD. All Powered by a Corsair TX750, inside a Cooler master HAF 912 Advanced case. This board is rock solid and and runs flawlessly. I'm running 64bit Windows 7 and Ubuntu linux 11.10 without issues. The black and grey is beautiful and makes me glade I have a side window on my case. My only con with this motherboard is the bios, which seems dated when compared to Asus, But its still easily navigated and user friendly. Additionally I have tried various video capture cards and WiFi cards with this motherboard and everything has just worked without issues. So five stars from me.
