While I was aware that they are a respected company, they always seemed a little pricey. I bit the bullet last year and bought a GTX 480 from them. Smartest move I made. 3 months after I bought that card the 580 came out and EVGA replaced it for free *they have a 90 day policy that if a new version of a board comes out in that time you can return it and they'll send you the newest version." You just can't beat that kind of service. Tech Support is exceptional. Customer Service is more than pleasant and even knowledgeable. These are people who are passionate about their products.
After that experience I bought the FTW 3. The extra cost was worth it. I now have a 4.6 ghz 6-core i7 running beautifully. EVGA's overclocking features are some of the most robust I've seen. The board is well laid out, attractive for those with case windows, and very sturdy. You won't find any wobbly heatsinks on this board.
